Has been producing wallpaper collections for many years, Pierre Frey studio draws both on its own ability to dream up new products, and the archive department’s rich heritage of historic wallpapers. Dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries, this follows the extradinary technological and stylistic history of the medium.

Founded in 1935, Pierre Frey is proud of its traditional expertise – yet at the same time it is highly inventive, and profoundly eclectic. Pierre Frey has a remarkable collection of archives at the customer’s disposal. Since 2003, more than 30,000 documents (include designs, fabrics, and carpet samples) dating from the 16th century through to the present day have been gathered together in Pierre Frey, Paris, where they can be searched by period, by color, by motif and by technique. Besides its own brand Pierre Frey, this company also acquired Boussac, Braquenié, Fadini Borghi and Le Manach as their sub brands.
